We want to thank all of our Guests, who made the first summers such successful ones, and such enjoyable ones. It has been fascinating meeting everyone of you, from all walks of life, and from all over the world. You arrived as Guests, and left as Friends.

I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at the ranch. Everything was just perfect and we feel very lucky to have been a part of your ranch's life for a week. The only down side is that it wasn't for long enough. George is still ready to camp out in one of the pastures indefinitely (and I couldn't stay behind and let George have all the fun). Thank you again for Sonny and Princess, for the great riding, the beautiful scenery, for learning something about ranch management and issues, the delicious food, and most of all, the great companionship. George and I (and Linda too, I think) hope to be able to come back again and again. I hope that you're having a great week with your new guests - we envy them!

"Wir bedanken uns fur diesen herrlichen Urlaub (unsere erste USA-Reise!). Mimi und Tom sind tolle Gastgeber!!! Die Pferde und das Reiten durch das herrliche Gelande haben uns sehr viel Spass bereitet, besonders die Arbeit mit den Rindern. Nach Mimi's tollen Gerichten sind wir ein par Pfund schwerer, aber es hat so lecker geschmeckt! Tom hat uns in die Kunst des Zaunbaus eingewiesen, was uns auch sehr viel Spass gemacht. Trotz unserer Sprachschwieriegkeiten hatten wir eine Menge Spass. Fazit: We come back!
Translation: We thank you for this wonderful vacation (our first USA-trip!). Mimi and Tom are great hosts! We really enjoyed the horses and the riding through the wonderful ranch, and especially all the cattle work. After Mimi's great cooking we are a few pounds heavier, but it tasted so good! Tom introduced us to the art of fence-building which we also really enjoyed. Despite our lack of English we had a great time and a lot of fun. Fact: We are coming back!"

I wanted to drop you a line to tell you how very much I enjoyed my visit with you at JX Ranch. I learned a lot about range management and cows, the history of the area and local issues of the day. It was wonderful to hear the coyotes howl and hear the stories of the adventures ranching and "riding the range" you've both experienced. The cabin was wonderful. Beautifully decorated and furnished with all the comforts of home. What can I say about the riding? How very much I appreciated the "stool" and the fact that neither one of you were condescending about my using it to get on Sonny. And Sonny, what a jewel. I felt quite secure on him, he's good as gold!"
